If a ruler pays attention to lies, all his servants become wicked. NKJV

Devotional

A corrupt leader will draw around him corrupt people. Allow lies and you will be surrounded by liars.

It is so important to be careful what kind of people that we surround ourselves with, because even if we are innocent we may be judged as guilty by associating with bad people or we may be influenced to accept bad things as okay or start doing bad things ourselves.

My Heavenly Father, give me wisdom and understanding about the friends that I choose to be friends with. Alarm me if they are not the right “crowd” for me to be around and give me wisdom to recognize this and know when to walk away. In Yeshua’ precious name I pray, Amen.
